Hi, I’m Robert.

I was born on December 8, 1967, in Aindling near Augsburg, Germany, where I spent most of my life. I started riding motorcycles relatively late, at around 25 years old, with a Honda CBR 600 PC25. But once I started, I went far – riding all the way to Turkey, Syria, and Tunisia. After my wedding in 1999, motorcycles disappeared from my life for more than 20 years. That changed in October 2020, when I returned to riding with a BMW GS 1250 Adventure. At first, I only rode within Germany. But at the end of 2021, I made a decision that would change everything: I left Germany for good. The original plan was a 3–5 year world trip. But life has its own routes. I married my first wife for the second time (we were divorced from 2012 to 2022) and since May 2022 I have been living in Akçakoca on the Black Sea coast of Turkey, about 250 kilometers east of Istanbul. My major journey began on April 6, 2022. The route took me through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania,
